UNISAMUN 2012

The first UNISAMUN Conference was held from 8th to 12th October 2012 at the University of Salerno. The Conference is a simulation of selected organs of the United Nations, where students take on the role of diplomats, representing a country different from the one of origin.

The 2012 Conference general theme was: “Glocalization: the role of local communities in a globalized world”. Delegates represented their assigned countries in the following committees:

  • United Nations Security Council (UNSC)
  • United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)
  • United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)
  • UNISAMUN News
